You do not need to stow you camera just because the sun sets! Night shooting has long been one our favorite workshops. It's a fun group outing and adventure in discovering the familiar in an entirely new context.

The first evening will include a slide presentation, technical discussion and an overview of the shooting plan. You'll study prints and slides of a variety of subject matter, from pools of water and snowy trains to moving lights and reflections to real stars and streetlight stars. The class will also teach you several film development and printing techniques to get the best results from your film.

The second night is the shoot. It goes from dusk until you've exhausted your film or filled your memory card. Our instructor Chris James, a long time Denverite, knows the best haunts in Denver and reveals overlooks and vantages for some truly fantastic shots.

The third session and final session of this class is a wine and cheese critique where you and your classmates will share their printed work. The variety of results from nightshooting is astounding.

This class includes four weeks of darkroom time! Class Limit: 15 people

Date:April 11 and 12, 2008 (critique date TBD)
Time:6pm - 9pm
