You've made a great start with Foto 1 at the Denver Darkroom! Now it's time to sharpen your shooting skills and polish your post-production techniques.
This class is the second of our three class series designed to take you from the very beginning of film photography to becoming an accomplished photographer and creator of fine art photographic prints. It is the logical step following the completion of Foto 1.
Foto 2 begins with a series of photo assignments that will introduce you to new challenges designed to test your test the knowledge you acquired in Foto 1. You will be enhance your ability to adjust your exposure, use selective focus, control a variety of lighting situations and more.
During the second class you will learn some new darkroom techniques, learning about a variety of enlarging paper types. You will also learn techniques in toning and bleaching your prints, as well as advanced contrast control.
In your third class, you will be assigned a project in which you will use your newly critical eye, darkroom diligence and photography technique to produce a professional quality print you will be proud to display.
As you did in Foto 1, you will wrap up this course with a wine and cheese critique of the work you and your fellow student's create.
This class runs one afternoon or evening for 4 weeks. Six weeks of Darkroom time is also included in the class price! Class Limit: 10 people
