Tired of nude shots that say “been there, done that?” If so, this studio workshop is for you! The goal here is ABR, that's "Anything But Realistic!"
During both sessions of this workshop we will use unusual lighting techniques such as projections of slides on flesh, abstract forms of light and shadow, and silhouettes and edge lighting. We will also explore unusual treatment of the human form including wet and reflective skin as well as creative positioning and clothing. To pull it all together we will venture into the world of unusual studio modifications such as uncommonly texture backgrounds, motion blur via extended exposure. This workshop is nearly limitless – come with new and creative, but not obscene, ideas!
The second session will also provide photographers with the chance to play with every conceivable manipulation of the image in the darkroom. For our digital folk, we will also have a demonstration of interesting and exotic Photoshop techniques to create a variety of effects on your computer.
This class includes four weeks of darkroom time and model fees are included in the class price! Class Limit: 8 people
